68 artists, 68 earrings

If you like pretty, shiny things, go check out this exhibition at the Liz Loubser Gallery in Risidale, Johannesburg.

It has brought together 68 local jewellers who each committed a pair of earrings for the show. With a range of design styles – from classic to quirky – there’s something to make every pair of ears happy. And if you're not an earrings-type-of-person, a visit is still inspiring from a design and creativity point of view.

Some of the big names in the exhibition are Johan Louw, Cari-Mari Wilsenach, Ida-Elsje, Songezo Baleni, Dieter Dill and my favourite, Geraldine Fenn from Tinsel in Parkhurst. Go check it out at 11 Cecilia avenue, Risidale or visit the gallery’s facebook page for more info. It’s on until 23 November, so just one week left!
